What: A race up Smelter Mountain ripping pages out a book!
When: July 4th
Course: Helter Smelter Course #1
Helter Smelter Course #2
- Start Location: Back Country Experience
- From Back Country Experience go south of the River Path, then stay East of the River and follow Rosa
- Go under the bridge to cross 160
- Enter through the Dog Park (DO NOT LEAVE THE GATES OPEN)
- Follow the trails through the Dog Park
- Smelters Humps
- Finish Location: Same as Start
Rules:
-15 minutes before the race you need to log your estimated time to complete the course.
-No GPS watches! No wrist watches! No Cell Phones! YOU MAY NOT CARRY ANYTHING THAT HAS A WATCH OR TIMING DEVICE!
- Go up Smelter (follow tail) then go from book to book, please rip a page out of each book
- There are a total of 5 books, you must return with 5 pages
- Go back the same way you came after you got the last book
- As you finish your time will be recored
-The person closest to their predicted time wins (does not matter if you under or over estimated your time)
